Birds for Beginners Course

An introduction to identifying the amazing variety of birds that visit Hicks Lodge throughout the year. This free 5 day course will help you develop confidence when identifying birds what-ever the time of year and will teach you the skills needed to make bird watching your new passion!

Led by Debbie Alston, Conservationist and Experienced Wildlife Tutor with support from Leicestershire & Rutland Ornithological Society (LROS).

To attend the course you must be available for all five sessions which are taking place on the following dates below –

Sat 25th February, Introduction to Birds
Sun 30th April, Spring Migrants
Mon 1st May, Dawn Chorus
Sat 16th September, Autumn Migrants
Sat 25th November, Winter Migrants
