Butterfly Survey Training – Willesley Wood

With Richard Jeffrey, East Midlands Butterfly Conservation,

Join us for this fun training event where we will be teaching you the simple skills needed to help us survey and monitor butterfly numbers at Willesley Woods. This training is aimed at volunteers who would like to contribute towards butterfly conservation in the Heart of the Forest by visiting the site between April to September to record what they see! On the day we will cover butterfly survey methods and species ID before visiting the wood to conduct the survey in the field.
