Coppicing

The purpose of the course it to understand why woodlands are managed, how this management is carried out and when is the right time in terms of season and years. The course will be held outdoors.  Please ensure that you come in warm waterproof clothing, sturdy footwear and bring a hot drink with you. Marion will bring chocolate biscuits and all tools, safety equipment etc. Please note that no power tools will be used,  only hand tools eg bowsaws, loppers.
