Miniature Worlds

Clay and nature activities for families. 

Join artist Kathryn Parsons to make miniature clay models inspired by lichens and plants.

Create a tiny collection to fill a matchbox with treasures.

Help find mini beasts including butterflies, bees and other pollinators.

These are all FREE, drop by activities delivered in partnership with Leicestershire County Council Family Learning and Open Air Laboratories. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Pick Triangle is on Mushroom Lane, opposite Albert Village Lake. Closest parking available at Mushroom Hall Pub or opposite Albert Village Primary School, which are both a 5 minute walk from the site. Use the entrance at The Close (DE11 8ES) and follow the arrows. Activities will be held near to the birch covered pit bank.
