Railways, Canals and the National Forest

Join Hazel McDowell for a Black to Green walk as part of the National Forest Walking Festival.

Explore the nature reserves and woodlands of The National Forest via old and new footpaths, disused railway lines and canal tow paths.

The route is approximately 11 miles. Walking boots or sturdy footwear required. Bring a packed lunch. Children welcome. Dogs to be kept on a lead.
