The Coal Tits
The Coal Tits have joined forces with Jennifer Reid, performer of 19th century Industrial Revolution broadside ballads to create new songs and poems about the Heart of the Forest’s changing landscape. Gathered under an oak tree at The Crossroads at Timber Festival, the group will perform highlights from their new collection Foraging for Words reflecting upon local characters, histories, places and traditions.
Performances will take place 11.45am, 2.45pm and 4.45pm on Saturday 7 July.
To attend a Festival pass for Timber will need to be purchased. Tickets start from £40 for an adult day pass and £15 for children (under 3 yrs free). Residents in the National Forest are eligible for a 25% discount on tickets.
Further information about the performances, the full festival programme and ticket bookings are all available from the Timber website.
