The Heart of the National Forest – From Black to Green

Join Dot Morson for a Black to Green walk as part of the National Forest Walking Festival.

This is a circular walk following woodland rides and an ancient route, part of the National Forest Way. Points of interest include the hamlet of Boothorpe, the ruins of Norris Hill and the vast space used by the former Rawdon Colliery.

The route is approximately 4.75 miles and includes 3 stiles. No dogs (unless guide dogs). Walking boots/sturdy footwear required.
