Tree Health Talk
The UK’s trees are currently facing unprecedented threats from new and emerging pests and diseases. This session, organised by Heartwood Community Woodfuel Group, offers the opportunity to learn more about tree health from one of the country’s leading experts. The session will cover how to recognise pests and diseases and what you can do to help protect our woods and trees.
The session begins with coffee and registration followed by a talk. After lunch (available from YHA or bring your own) we will go out into the woods for a field visit to put into practice what we have learnt. No previous experience or skills required. Please wear sturdy footwear and bring suitable outdoor clothing.
