Winter Walk – National Lottery Celebration

Celebrate the winter season with a nature walk led by Marion Farrell from Groundwork.

We will be starting at Sarah’s Wood, then taking the towpath along past Moira Furnace, through Donisthorpe Woodland Park and following the Heritage Trail past the YHA and through Conkers. Along the way we will be finding out how to identify trees in the winter and discovering some seasonal folklore.

This walk is FREE to attend and as part of the HLF National Lottery Celebration all Lottery Players will receive a free ‘cuppa & cake’ when we stop for refreshments at the YHA. Alternatively refreshments will be available to purchase.

Distance – approx 3.5miles.
